An innovative company at the forefront of the aerospace industry, located in Portsmouth is actively seeking a Thermal Vacuum Test Engineer to join its engineering team. The company is globally recognized for its innovation and contributions to the aviation industry.

Job Overview:

We're seeking a Thermal Vacuum Test Engineer to join the environmental test laboratory team at Portsmouth. In this role, you'll support both internal business units and external commercial customers by fulfilling their testing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thermal vacuum testing on both space and commercial hardware.
  • Perform temperature/humidity testing on space and commercial hardware.
  • Analyze test data and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Adhere to national and international standards in all testing activities.
  • Review test procedures and prepare quotations based on external customer specifications.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an engineering apprenticeship HNC or an Engineering Degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in laboratory testing.
  • Proven track record of working directly with customers.
