Senior Games Designer (Permanent)

Location: Burton upon Trent Country: UK Rate: £40k - 65k per annum, Benefits: Hybrid Working

Our client is looking for a creative senior games designer to join their studio and lead the production of new and exciting casino games to multiple markets, from idea to final product. More importantly, you will be developing and presenting new game-play mechanics from creative briefs.

This is a hybrid working role, working two days in their Burton upon Trent office.

Main Responsibilities
- Development and presentation of new game ideas, mechanics and concepts that meet a creative brief.
- To work with the rest of the studio, to prove the viability of concepts prior to further development.
- To work collaboratively with a wider development team to creatively direct the production of the games from concept to final product.

Requirements:
- A passion for games and an excellent understanding of what makes a game appealing.
- At least 2 years experience creating and delivering casino/slot games/gambling games.
- A wide knowledge of existing game types, structures, mechanics, and standards of presentation across different markets.
- Ability to use a wide variety of visual design tools to design and storyboard game ideas.
- Good understanding of mathematical game control, methods and their implementation
- Good understanding of the game approval process in different markets.
