As they continue to expand, we offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of IT or IT Manager to join our team in London. Role & Responsibilities:
As an Head Of IT, you will play a crucial role in our team, taking on the following responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder management
  • Solutions design, management and consulting
  • Resolving escalated issues, working independently with the team and 3rd parties.
  • Administer and maintain infrastructure to ensure its optimal performance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot server and network performance using advanced monitoring systems, taking prompt action when necessary.
  • Oversee backup and disaster recovery systems and processes.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring smooth collaborations.
  • Keep operational documentation up to date for reference and compliance purposes.
  • Issue resolution and pro-active maintenance, delivering top-quality service.
  • Ensure our operations meet ISO 27001 standards and lead the way in annual audits.

Essential Skills & Experience:
To excel in this role, you should bring the following to the table:

  • Proven Leadership experience, growing and building a team
  • To identify and proactively manage Major Incidents and work with wider teams to deliver a resolution
  • Proficiency in Firewall and network configuration and maintenance.
  • Create and update documentation
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019, including NLB and clustering.
  • Strong expertise in Hyper-V and VMware.
  • In-depth knowledge of all Microsoft business offerings.
  • Cloud Architecture Design & Migration Strategy
  • Regulatory Compliance (eg, GDPR, ISO 27001), ERP/CRM & Legacy migrations
  • Competence in Windows Script Host/VBScript/PowerShell.

Desirable/Preferred:
It would be advantageous if you have:

  • Previous experience working for a Managed Service Provider or IT Consultancy.
